If you love to bike or walk the Pinellas trail is a must! I’ve biked the trail from Downtown St Pete, where it starts, all the way to St Pete Beach! It was a long ride and totally worth it!
Another notable nature spot is Weedon Island Preserve, a sacred land dedicated to the indigenous Native American culture that predates the city itself. You can wander the trails and even kayak.

While St. Pete embraces its historic roots with neighborhoods and structures built in the 1920’s like Old Northeast and the Mediterranean-style architecture influence popular at the time. You will also notice many mind- century marvels and eccentric architecture evolution that takes us into modern times. The city feels dynamic, with tech startups, green initiatives, and urban development reshaping its skyline.

I have taken the Pinellas Trail over to Gulfport on my bike many times!
